Bitcoin daily chart alert - Bulls work to stabilize price

NEW YORK (May 17)  Bitcoin-U.S. dollar prices are higher in early U.S. trading Tuesday. The bulls are trying to stop the bleeding and at least push the market sideways on the daily chart, and are having some success this week. However,  bulls have more heavy lifting to do to stop the near-term price downtrend. Bears still have the firm overall near-term technical advantage.
