Bitcoin daily chart alert - Consolidation after recent gains is not bearish

New York (Jan 12)  Bitcoin-U.S. dollar prices this week are seeing a big downside correction after hitting a record high last week. So far, this is a routine chart consolidation in an uptrend that remains in place on the daily bar chart. The bulls do need to step up and show power soon to keep the uptrend alive. This will be an extra important trading week for the Bitcoin bulls. The bulls do still have the overall technical advantage.
