Gold price edges lower; stronger dollar weighs
London (Feb 7) Gold prices edged down on the morning of Tuesday February 7 on a strengthening dollar.
The spot gold price was recently quoted at $1,229.60/1,229.90 per oz, down $3.80 on the previous close, when it reached a three-month high of $1,235 per oz amid increased risk aversion. Trade has ranged from $1,228.55 to $1,235.58 so far.
