Gold price settles higher, up a second week in a row
New York (Apr 14) Gold prices settled higher Friday, as U.S. tensions with Russia and China lifted the metal's investment appeal, pulling it higher for a second week in a row. June gold GCM8, +0.50% rose $6, or 0.5%, to settle at $1,347.90 an ounce--up 0.8% for the week. It settled at a roughly 2 1/2-month high on Wednesday.
