MCX Daily Report: Silver, Nickel gains; Natural Gas declines
MUMBAI-INDIA (Aug 13) Silver gained 1.09%. September contract rose to a high of 46359 Rs/kg. CPO and nickel were also in the gainer’s list.
Silver December rose to 1.36% to 47470 Rs/kg as of 04.45 pm IST. India has raised import duty on silver to 10% from the earlier 6%, impacted silver prices.
Nickel August rose to 0.73% to 907.70 Rs/kg. In LME markets, Lead is trading at $ 14775 per ton.
CPO gained 1.01% to 508.60 Rs/10kg.
Euro zone industrial production rises 0.7% in June and India has raised import duty on gold to 10% from the earlier 8% impacted metal prices.
Natural Gas August has fallen 0.83% to 202.60 Rs/mmBtu. Profit booking was seen for natural gas on yesterday’s gain.
Cardamom September has fallen 3.99% to 776.50 Rs/kg. Heavy rainfall with low production from Kerala impacted cardamom prices. Cardamom November has fallen 4.00% to 816.90 Rs/kg.
