US Dollar Mixed After Building Permits, Housing Starts

Brussels  (Jan 21)   The US building permits and housing starts for December have been released at  8:30 am ET Wednesday  . Following these reports, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback declined against the euro and the pound, it changed little against the franc and the yen.

The greenback was trading at 1.5119 against the pound, 1.1606 against the euro, 0.8614 against the franc and 117.36 against the yen around  8:33 am ET  .
