Gold price recovers slightly from Friday's drop

London (Oct 3)  Gold was in positive territory on Monday morning in London, recovering slightly after Friday's drop.

The spot gold price was last at $1,315.75/1,316.05 per oz, up $4.15 on the pre-weekend close. Trade has ranged from $1,314.15 to $1,319.65 so far. - The precious metal fell.
