Fed's Barkin: Rate Hikes Until Inflation HOLDS at 2%

While many had expected that the Fed's interest rate hikes would not last too long before seeing a reversal in policy (myself included) the latest Fed commentary indicates that is not likely to be the case.

On Monday Richmond Fed President Thomas Barkin was quoted as saying that he wants to see the inflation rate HOLD at 2% for some period of time, and with inflation rates still elevated, that would suggest that the Fed has some ways to go.
