Kevin Means CFA
Kevin Means is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Sapient Investments. The firm is built upon Mr. Means’ experience and expertise in portfolio management, quantitative modeling, risk management, and asset allocation. As a former long/short equity hedge fund manager, five-star mutual fund manager, chief investment officer, asset allocation strategist, and director of quantitative research, Mr. Means’ background is ideally suited for managing go-anywhere, absolute return portfolios.
During more than 30 years of successfully managing investment portfolios and investment firms, Mr. Means has held senior positions at a variety of firms, including Invesco and Aetna. He founded several investment firms, including a hedge fund management firm. He has managed portfolios of over $10 billion and has been awarded five-star status from Morningstar.
Mr. Means has a BA in Economics from The College of William and Mary, an MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and an MBA from the University of Virginia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
